Hey guys, Tim and Ken.. I'm interested in becoming a moderator, preferably over Audio Video. Within the past month I've gotten 5 positive reps, and two of those are in Audio Video. I'm on FTE constantly so I measure up to the 3+ days a week. As I see there is nobody in A/V as a mod, but there are a few referee's that step in once and a while.
I assume by this time that I've been passed over for the 7.3 forum job, but I still think somebody needs to do it. Tim, I think you are doing a fine job keeping up with the welcome message for the new members, are you doing the job permanently?

What's the plans on a moderator for 1968 - Present Full Size Vans? I'll volunteer but I probably don't meet all the qualifications. I am usually on here multiple times per day as I can access it from work now (They instituted a new filter and while almost everything is filtered, the forum here isn't, and it used to be!)
I am a Purdue grad and work as an electronic technician. I have been a backyard mechanic since getting my first car, a 71 Pinto that I had to replace the broken rear leaf springs in the middle of winter.
I have an 89 and 2000 econoline conversion van and a dodge caravan along with an 88 Class C RV on an E-250 van cut-away. I try and do all my own work until it require getting deep into the engine and then it goes to my one and only trusted mechanic that works out of his barn on his farm.
I've had another 89 E-150 I bought off of Ebay and an 88 chevy conversion at one time too. I work in the pharmaceutical industry so I don't have any conflict of interest.
As a former ford dealership master technician, specializing in transmission and drivetrain repair, i would like to offer my services in anyway that you could use them. I have to admit that I lean toward the 92-97 f-series though. I am wondering about a chapter in the wet state called Oregon also.
Wow this thread has to be a record 2 yrs and counting, just curious I see Ken originally posted guidelines then I see mention of new guidelines is there some reason the new ones aren't posted?
Not hinting or anything as I figure most places I would have any knowledge of any value to anyone would have already been filled up, and who wants to listen to a grumpy old redneck anyway I was just curious is all.
i would be happy to moderate as well. I love trucks and been at the hobbie for quite a while. I must say this is the best site i have ever been and the members are very respectfull....Feel free to pm me if you have any questions.
