NP205 4-lo Problem

NP205 4-lo Problem
I completely rebuilt pretty much everything on my 77, the only thing i didnt really touch was the t-case. I didnt notice this for a long time, but in 4-lo, i only get power to either the rear wheels, or the front wheels, never both. 4-hi works fine.
I just noticed this the other day when i was trying to pull someone out of my field, and i got stuck as well. I was kinda shocked, but then i noticed only my front wheels were spinning. Slapped it in 4-hi, and i jumped right out of the mud. Tried it again somewhere else and that time only the rear wheels spun.
I'm not super into t-cases, but what do you think it could be? I have a spare 205 laying around that i could swap in, but i'd prefer to save this t-case if possible.
