Handsome little critter. And a nice size too. I bet you will have a lot of fun with him.
I guess you will spend the night thinking about names for the little guy.
Thanks Bruce. No, I named him Tuffy. The pound had a name of Poncho. I didn't think that fit him at all. I kind of had the name Tuffy on my mind so I guess he fit the name fairly well. But he will have a few nicknames as Kermit did. I think Buddy will be one.
I'm pretty excited about getting him tomorrow. He did not want to go back in the kennel at the pound when I left this afternoon. Im glad he is at the Vets tonight. The Vet that has him I have known for years. When I was a Farrier I worked with a few of the doctors at the clinic he is at. Kermit was taken care of & put down by them. So Tuffy will get good care. I called them today to have them give him all his shots. The pound collects for the neutering & rabies shot. But I wanted him to get the others that puppies need. So they know he is ours.
congrats craig with the new additon. Sorry, I have been off the scope as I had to make an unexpected trip to the ER last night with a tablesaw accident. All in all not to bad as I got seven stitches and a consult to ortho this morning. It was my own fault as I was in a hurry making two quick cuts. Unfortunately the third cut was my fingers. Anyway, enough about all that. I updated my 40 thread so you can check it out here:
Red Sorry to hear about your accident. Saws can be dangerous for sure. I think of all the times framing I worked with guards being tied open. How I didn't cut myself badly was truly a blessing.
Glad you are OK.
Guess I have been lucky for the past fifty years. I have always had and used a table saw. Right now I have a Powermatic 66. Wonderful saw. It came with a very effective blade guard that I only had on it for half a day. Just couldn't work with it.
Both my dad and my brother (who are/were pretty good wood workers,) had tables saw accidents, requiring several surgeries. They were both industrial arts teachers too, so it's not that they didn't know what they were doing.
Morning Bruce. Feel free to keep all of that white crap out your way!!LOL! We are supposed to have rain all week, and a small chance of wet snow/rain on Friday.
What a cutie Craig! I'm glad you got him from the pound. I have a very good friend who works for animal control and some of the stories she has just break your heart.
Bruce that's a great idea - with the proximity of the river I could use the boat and jetski as well - since it's still snowing at home haha. The only problem is Fallon's not really on the way from San Diego to here.
William the only problem with that is the quality of the rentals. I rented some at Pismo one time and was unimpressed. When you're used to going 100+ and climbing any dune with ease, a regular 4 wheeler just doesn't cut it. It is killing me though I drive through them twice a day and see everyone else having fun.
Not this weekend but I have been putting a bug in his ear. Problem is he traded his quad for his current race car chassis so he would just have to watch me.

How long is this project supposed to last?
Would you be able to find a place to keep toys?
