Craig, if I were in your place I think I would wait till I got settled in somewhere before getting a new dog. You know how they are, they like a routine.
Good Morning Bruce. We have thought about that also. But our life style is as you know living full-time in an RV. We travel a lot. So that is the route. Finding the right dog is the key we think. They will have the same place to sleep 97% of the time, same food, the same potty times, etc. I know Kermit saw the moves as a new adventure to check out new smells & country. He loved to go but was a awful traveler. He never could just lay or sit down in the vehicles. He was up & down all the time. But try leaving him home he would beat you to the door to go. Kermit would remember place he had been. When he was young, we would be coming into a town he lived & he would start to whine & wag his tail. We guess the smells would alert him.
So we are just in the process of starting to look. Doing the footwork as I call it. We aren't 100% sure we are leaving this year. It depends on if the right job comes along also. With the economic situation not looking good if we have to stay another year we will, if we want to or not. Again we are doing the footwork there also. We believe that if we do the footwork God will open doors, then we need to make the decisions as to what direction will be best at that time.
Craig
Morning All,
Cloudy here in the valley this am. We got a bunch of rain last night. When I say a bunch, that is a bunch for Vegas. We got about.33 inches in North LV. Supposed to be cloudy w spotty showers through out. Hope everyone is doing well this morning.
I finally got some time to work on my 40 yesterday. I got the new brake booster mounted and hooked up. It still needs to have the pedal adjusted but it looks good. I rebuilt the headlight buckets with new hardware and springs. Lastly I installed new endlinks and bushing for my sway bar. I'll have pictures up tonight.
Bruce, You guys need the snow. I heard the other night that Reno & the western Nevada Valley have had more snow that the Lake. It sure doesn't do the water situation much if it isn't in the mountains. From what we saw at Christmas time that is true. We had much more snow Christmas Day in Fallon that Stateline had.
Even though I live in the banana belt, we have not had a lot of snow by any stretch of the imagination. We have had plenty of "snow events" but not a lot of accumulation.
Bruce is it an F150? I like the F150s. I think their styling & looks are way better than the F250-F350. Enjoy it.
Does anyone believe the weather reports out of Reno. 68 degrees by weeks end. I'll believe it if it happens. I don't think the weather stations/weathermen have a damn clue about the weather. I think they will keep people watching it they say things that give people hope for the end of this Global Warming we are having.
