Same down here. I have a whole day of sitting outside watching my daughter play softball ahead of me.

Oh it is. It's a 10 and under team so hitting is still a challenge. Well, so is throwing for that matter.

Enough snow has melted that I can see some of my grass.

Does that mean it's spring?

William, Watching kids play is fun. I use to do recess duty in Arizona @ my wife's school. I had so much fun watching them play & interact with each other. You can learn a lot from watching them. I always have said I don't know who is teaching who. It sure seemed like I was learning more than I taught.

It's always a learning experience watching kids, my youngest just turned 16, and when she was younger I coached the kids for soccer and it was a very good learning experience for both of us!

Good afternoon Nevada. Thanks Red for starting the March thread for us. I had to cut my vacation short and head back. 90 MPH most of the way. Thought I was in trouble a couple of times when I past a few cops going the other way. They never looked twice.

The Nugget casino now owns the Red Garter casino and we have been a bit busy trying to get things going. I have been trying to talk them into keeping sponsorship of the open road race but the owner does not want to make any comitments at the moment.

Will, any of the race teams could have kidnaped me and I would not have complained

I have most of the stuff ordered for my 'stang. Once I get that done I will be able to take my time with the trucks. I am curently working on a way to mount my curent throttle cable to the cobra throttle body.

Talk to y'all later.

Jeff glad your alive & well. We were wondering what happened.
I sure miss my dog. I'm starting to think about getting another one. But I have to wait & see what we are going to do. Vici is hard at applying for work in Arizona. She finished her Masters in Special Ed this week.
So we aren't sure if we will move or not. I want out of the cold winters but I like Lovelock. It is a small farming town where 4 cars is a traffic jam. There is one stop light in town. We are only 100 miles from Reno or 58 miles to a Walmart. But we have a Safeway Food store, few gas stations & places to eat out. We have outstanding High School Football, Basketball, & Basebase teams. We have a dirt track. So pretty much everything a guy needs. Not to mention hundreds of miles of wide open space.

Craig, if I were in your place I think I would wait till I got settled in somewhere before getting a new dog. You know how they are, they like a routine.

I was out most of the day yesterday. Daughters team lost the first game to a bad team, and won the second game against the best team from last season.

Been out front tinkerin around today. Made a new air filter for the compressor on my truck, and painted the condenser after a thorough cleaning..

Not much fun here. Just trying to adjust to the new work schedule. Just went from 4 days to 5 days and next week my days off are changing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. More days means more money. It's just going to take a bit to get used to it.
