Okay, gotcha.
You are doing a TOTAL frontend change.
Brain fart...No problem.
Still cant see spending that kind of money to change everything out though?
It is after all, mainly the major change in the headlights.
LOLOL.
The major change is the headlights and grill (the updated bumper isn't noticed as easily). I can buy Ford parts for 5% over dealer cost, so I should be able to do the swap for much less that what some have previously paid.
Well I plan on doing this for my 04 King ranch. I bought the headlights and bought pre-cut grill to make it much easier of a swap, since I didnt trust myself cutting the grill. And its still much cheaper than that kit haha.
Can someone please direct me to the "How-To" information regarding the conversion? Also, can I change the grill only, or is there something that doesn't look right or match up by doing this. Side by side head-on photos of an 04 and an 05-07 would be great too, so us newbies could see the differences. Thanks in advance!
I think it matches up fine with the stock headlights, however, I plan on installing the 05 and up ones to match the clean lines. I kinda like the split headlights the 05-07 have on them.

Here is mine stock
Here it is with the 05-07 modded grill from ebay
I think that looks great!
"05-07 modded grill" - is that the one that looks like the 05-07, but is made as a drop-in replacement for the 04, for about 300 bucks?
