Been here, not much to say. Wise man once say " Better to keep mouth shut & be thought fool than open & remove all doubt ". Not sure there's much doubt, but J.I.C., figured I'd play it safe.
Sorta. Went in this morning early before classes started to talk to the instructor. He says they've got the valve cover off & cleaned up ( did comment on how much fun it was to get it up out of there ). Also said they had to trim the bracket for the manual choke somebody installed, it was interfering with the valve cover. They're not in the shop the rest of this week. Says next week they hope to put it back on & clean up to check for any other leaks. Keeps talking about possible rear main due to the amount of oil I was using getting it here. If so, I have to take it to a shop. He said that's too involved / too much work for the kids. May have to drop / loosen some front crossmember & / or front axle. Haven't gotten a return call form the shop I usually take stuff to. Want to get a quote from him IF I have to do the rear main.
