These tranny bolts are a pain, had to buy more tools. Had to use 5 foot of 3/8 extensions for the side bolts. Waiting on a 5/8 swivel socket to get here for the top two bolts. 4 MORE BOLTS AND YOUR ENGINE IS OUT LEE!
Yesterday I scored, off KC craigslist a set of axles from a 78 F250, D44 front and D60 rear with a Detroit locker, YAHOO!!!!!!
And they had a Rough Country 4" lift set of front springs still bolted on to the axles. New Warn lock in/outs, new 4.56 gears in both axles.
And a C-6 from a big block with the NP205 still attached and a extra rear DS.
I am researching the rear springs they are not Rough Country but are new from some kinda Ford, looks like I will be getting ol Blue's front block issue fixed real soon.
to straighten the radiator support back out......i havent done it yet, BTW. you always think, "next time, i am going to remove the rad support and grill". (but you probably wont)
