Greg I'm glad your basement is dry.
I went down to get some tools for the day and one corner of mine is all WET.
But the water is from the hot water heater that sprung a leak.

The talk about Blue Trails as a GTG sounds nice, but with a tapped out credit card I need the discretionary dollars to knock down the balance in stead of buying ammunition.
I guess you could say that right now my money is going up in smoke, but its exhaust fumes and not muzzle blast.
I see the talk about going to blue trails. Since I am new to Ct. is there any requirements to go to a range. In Maine I would go out to a gravel pit somewhere, but I take it that wouldn't go over to well here.

There is a gravel pit in the Naugatuck State Forest between Naugatuck & Beacon Falls along the railroad tracks.
I recall it was an active shooting area for awhile at least, don't know now.
I had heard about there had been full-auto firing there.
Google Maps will show a Black Forest Rd., the asphalt ends at the railroad tracks.
The named roads that follow the tracks are gravel motor vehicle trails.
The gravel pit is south along the railroad.
If you have Google Earth, the gravel pit is across the river from the 8-ball denoting Route Eight.
