So did you swap the seats out of your f350 into the X? I am sure you will get them mounted in there. It would be nice to have them lay flat like that. A guy needs a challenge once in awhile!
I had the original seats from my X still, so I put them back in when I sold it.
I've been messing around with ways to get them in there. Had it all setup using the old seat base as a mount point, but it was to high. I'm gonna fab up a center bracket and join the two seat pieces together and set it up. See how that works...
Evening everyone! Finally mad my way onto this thread, now you guys will want to get rid of me.
Hey Jay, Speaking of people riding motorcycles, I saw a moron yesterday on a real nice Harley, I watched him pull out of his driveway, followed him about a mile and then watched him lay it down on his first turn. They really like there sand around Buffalo. He was OK and the bike only had a scratch on the pipes, but the guy pulled out of his driveway and drove through about 2" of sand and crap. Heck with the bike getting wrecked, how about not being able to stop or turn.
I still have not put my snowmobiles away or taken the chains off the tractor. Litte early to ride the bike.
David you should take some pics of your mounts before you mount the seat for the final time. Take some when your all done too. This sounds interesting if I ever come across an X rear seat I might just do this.Well call it the dlibson rear seat mod. lol
