supercharger

Im new to this group and pretty new to the 5.4. But could you not take the top end off of the 5.4 2v lightning motor and bolt it up to the s/d do a tune to the stock computer and be on your way?? Sorry if this is repetative guys.

You'll also need the lightning or equivalent fuel pump.

Thanks fellas wasnt sure if everithing would bolt up, now I just gotta find a lightning top end...

Uh, foster you don't have a 3V 5.4 do you? Didn't catch the '04 part in the beginning. If you do the Lightning application wont work. If you have the 2V the Edelbrock wont work.
Its a intake port problem between the two.

My truck is the 2 valve, I have been curious about the possibility of a supercharger and have not had much luck in with aftermarket stuff, but thought if I could find a guy that upgraded the top end of his lightning or a wrecked truck that that would probably be the best way to go,

ha, not that I have the cash to do it right now but if the price was right...
