Yes I have an opportunity to purchase a supercharger from a 5.4 cobra but I have an 04 F150 5.4 3V. Is this going to work? I know I have to purchase the spacer that goes underneath the unit and probably a Computer upgrade of some sort but was not sure the 5.4 cobra was the same as the 5.4 in the F150 any help on this matter would be appeaciated.
that blower won't fit your current 5.4 3v without an adapter. And then you'll need the intercooler (upper intake), the pulley setup, crank adapter, intercooler cooler, add-on water pump
new pcm tuning
lots and lots of stuff to make the GT500 blower fit your 5.4 3v. go onto eBay and search for "Roushcharger". Roush themselves is selling their +112 HP/TQ Supercharger for $2100-2300. That is everything you need to supercharger your truck.
I bought that kit back in October for my 2006 FX4. Loved it. Gave me about 300 RWHP...and alot of fun. Ever seen a 6,000 lb Supercrew lay rubber and pull a powerslide on dry pavement? I did it quite often
recommend you go that route. An extra $500 with Mike Troyer (pulley + tunes) and your truck will have about 330-350 RWHP.
