Hey Ed... in the meantime... would you consider taking the part back and giving me a refund since it was not the right part from the getgo, or has my procrastination put it into a situation where nothing can be done at this point? Obviously, since it was not the correct part, it has never been installed in anything at all.

Believe me, I'm not trying to twist any arms... just seeking a small positive on my current cash flow situation. I can always sell it on eBay if I have to. Just let me know.

I have no idea where he came up with the line of BS.

so you didn't install it and it does not work?

whew, I thought I was losing my mind.

I might be able to take it back for you, restock fee is going to kill you. say $35.48 and why were you not buying from me in 08? all the cool people were.....hmmmmm?

I can work out something for you, but 2 years? hmmmmm

No, Ed, I could NOT install it since the unit I needed was integral with the pedal assembly... you know... pedal, pedal mount, sensor... all built together with no way to separate them (like you obviously can on the GASSER models). I'm sure that the sensor would work on the correct pedal assembly configuration, but like I said, it never got a chance to get connected to anything on my truck because it did not FIT. I just ordered the whole assembly as a replacement and never got around to returning the one I still have sitting beside me on the sofa right now.

Well, I hate to bring up too much of the past, but until that situation, Kenny had always done good by me and your prices over at Parr Ford were always $1.50-$2.00 higher than Kenny's on everything. You and I talked about that several times, and I just had to watch every penny I spent.

Thanks... you're actually a pretty good guy after all, aren't you? Let me know how bad that restocking fee might be and we can go from there.

PM replied to, Robin. Thanks.

Ed... that swap for the diff cover is tempting, and I am very grateful for your being so willing to help me get this worked out, but I'm not sure the best direction at the moment. I actually have another offer for a straight out purchase from another member, and I need to investigate that option first if for no other reason than how it better fits my cash flow situation right now. I'll know where that situation stands in the next day or two.
