kift kit options

hey everyone, solf my 86 f250 and picked up my father inlaws f150 for cheap. i have a company truck for a daily driver so i wanna lift my f150 and do her up, i found a 4inch suspension lift which will do, but can i do the 2inch leveling kit and the 2inch torsion bar keys for a total of 8inch of lift? i cant see why these 3 combos wouldnt work to reach this hight, this is taking into account ill probly have to lengthen the drive shafts and brake lines, but i cant see the cv joint beeing to stressed with the 4inch susp parts fixing the angles. anyway let me know what you think.

thats alot of stuff, how much is it going to run you? sounds cheaper just to go with a 6" suspencion lift and 3 inch body and not put all that strain on your front end components.

I dont do body lifts The front end is all brand NEW every replaceable part has been replaced in the front end. how big of tires you running? Tell me more tell me more, and some pics if you can

well a leveling kit consists of spacers on top of the coils. the 4 inch kit will bring the rear up 4 inchs and the front up 4 inches. so thats 4 inchs from a block in the rear and 4 inchs from coils in the front, leveling kit and keys up front will be another 4 inches in the front, so all in all you'll see 4 inches in the rear total lift and 8 up front. so do a 6 or 8 inch lift kit as a whole instead.

yes you are correct, i dropped the ball however i cant use the spacers because i dont have coils, i have torsion bars, you either have one or the other so i can do a 4inch sus lift with 2 inch torsion keys for 6inch in the front, and 4inch block and 2inch add a leaf in the rear, so the most i can go is 6inch. or i can get the 6inch sus lift that highteckredneck has. do you know were you can get a 6 or 8 inch sus lift, i cant find them

fabtech makes a 6", 7", or 8" lift kits for 97-03 f-150. the 6" is about 2000 bucks and it goes up from there. like 93 said, just google it.

here is mine. 6" fabtech lift no trosion bar crank or keys. 35" all-terrains but i could go with 37" tires and not have any rubbing issues.

To answear your question for a 4inch sus lift and 2inch torsion keys and 2inch add a leaf would cost a little under 1300 including shocks

Wouldn't a 4" block promote excessive axle wrap?

even leaf spring lifts have axel wrap. i would go with some traction bars.

and OP, these small v8s are pushin almost 300lbft of torque. hell my truck will light up both rear wheels for about 20 feet.
