Trans Problems ?

2004 F 150 driving in d will go up to about 35 mph then act like its in neutral, but if i turn the overdrive off seems to drive fine. I can drive in 2nd if overdrive is on also, any ideas on whats wrong here ?

I would look into a trans flush. Mine did the same thing and i did nothing about it and burned up a trans. I would have rathered spent 80 bucks and not thousands.

trans problem

I had a trans flush about three months ago...seems like it could be a sensor problem ?

trans problem

duh !!!!!!! yes checked fluid checked linkage, seems that a retaining clip for the overdrive broke and stuck in a valve, 900 bucks later its works.....freakin dealers

do you think 900 was a fair price, seems high to me to pull the pan, and check the valve ?
