need some help here, 05 Escape 3.0 4wd. right headlight won't always come on, then other times works fine. I've replaced both headlight bulbs 3x's in 70k miles. I've repaired what i think is the ground near the washer bottle. I must be missing something here. The left side always works... help!
Had the same issue on the left side of my 01. I would wiggle the plug on the headlight and it would work.Cleaned the connections and put on some die electric on them works fine since.
You might find that there is a relay switch for each head light. Some vehicles are set up that way. Check your owners manual. The head light relay(s) are in the fuse box under the hood.
Make sure to check the plug for the light that is giving you trouble. I had the same issue and the plug looks like it has overheated at some point as the plastic is deformed.
