Your more than welcome. You can order an AIC from the dealer or look around on CL or EBay. They are used to kick up the idle on our trucks to warm them up quicker or when jump starting another vehicle. Chase (superduty 4x4) has one in his truck we wired his differently though. To fool it into thinking that the ebrake is on via a switch
I have one that is new in the box, never used. If you really want one, PM me.
PTO control model?
To add to what Jim said, I have an AIC installed in my truck. Its a plug and play deal, basically it lets you adjust the idle up for warm ups, jump starting, etc. Or, if you get the one that can control a PTO and your truck is actually equipped with one you can use it to run that. Mine is wired with a toggle switch to make the truck think the e-brake is set so that the AIC will operate. For the AIC to operate the following conditions must be met:
Truck in P (auto) or neutral (stick)
E-brake set
No input to go pedal or brake
The factory e-brake sensor is a cheesy little piece of crap and one spec of dust can cause it to not work properly, so when you set the e-brake the light doesn't come on. No light = no AIC operation. With the toggle switch I installed I flip the switch to ground the e-brake circuit and turn on the light in the dash. It was a really simple install.
Unless you using it to power up things like use of a PTO, basicly its like Jody's tune for a high idle, correct?? Disregard, read Marks AIC user directions, nice..
