What is this for?
This is under my dash of my truck just to the right of the steering column.
2002 F-350 XLT, 7.3 PS, CC, 4X4, CC, DRW. Auto w/OD.
What would this be for?

It is for an auxiliary idle control but I can't tell from the pic whereas I am looking at it via a phone.

I see the same size picture with a plug circled in yellow.Still not sure what the plug is for.

I see the picture now, but bigger would definitely be better. I can't make out what it is, but I probably wouldn't know anyways, so pay me no mind.....

If I were a bettin man, I'd say it is for the AIC unit. Pretty sure that is where the female receptical is located on my truck.

Ok, Just what is an AIC Unit?
Some of these abbreviations I'm unable to sipher them out.

can you order an AIC from ford to retrofit if you have the plug or is there a PCM parameter that needs to be enabled.
