well guize i picked up that pair of chippewas tonight, i'll see how they hold up, oh and made in the usa
Unfortunately made in the USA doesn't necessarily mean that the fabric and materials came from America. I'm not saying that this is the case here, but just putting that out.
Almost forgot that I had a pair of Georgia Boots between the Wolverines and Red Wings (somewhere in there).
They were good boots for the most part, the big problem I had with them was that the leather literally split just above the heel on one of my boots, where the leather had developed a "fold" from normal walking. I don't really understand how that happened as it was right in the middle of a solid piece and it just split. I wore them like that for awhile longer anyway and the split got worse, by the time I changed them out the other boot looked like it was about ready to split in the same spot.
i used to always wear doc's but that **** got old real fast and they always wore out on me and the sole never seemed to last me... i got turned on to Brahma's and i love em... comfortable as hell and good priced.
RedWings here too. I've tried alot of the other boots. My feet seem to like RedWings the best. And my company pays for most of the cost of any boots we want to buy.
