oh it was. when im done with my truck it'll look like that. got my sub box built tonight but the fabric store didnt have leather that matched my leather so im trying two other stores tomorrow then will post pics

hahhaha. more like alot of money shot



sub box is done. we did the angled sides because of the speakers and also the box still had too much air space. going to find matching pleather today

thanks guys. sub box and subs installed. time to tune and put the seat back in. this was my first time wrapping in something other than carpet so i learned a few things and once it was installed i realized the very minor wrinkles but o well its getting covered by the seat anyways

So what exactly is the benefit of all that dynamat? Purely for stereo sound deadening? Quieter cabin for normal driving on noisy tires?

benefit is stereo noise stays inside the car instead of going outside. it keeps all the outside road noise and exhaust out as well. and makes the doors wayyyy more solid when you close them

I did that to my Chevy...been trying like hell to resist doing another audio system. I might have to reconsider if I can get something other than a shallow mount behind or under. We shall see...there's always something

just one more mod...

hahhaha. always just one more mod. my buddy has an 01 like mine and he did 3 shallow mount tens behind the seat without even moving the seat. i would have loved to do the same setup but i had these w3 12's already so i put them in.plus im always the driver so i dc if the back is uncomfy. lol
