flexplate questions

i have a 2000 f250 auto 4x4 7.3l. i just destroyed the flexplate on it and was wondering whats a better than stock one to put on it so this doesnt happen again.what are good names of flexplates out there? thanks in advance

Quite a few have broke, I haven't heard of a aftermarket (better one).

Shoot that one lasted 12 years & however many miles, I'd just get one from Ford

ya true..12 years almost and 170k miles.but considering i tow so often and i drive like an idiot i was hoping to find something a bit better.if not i have a parts manager at ford so it shouldnt be bad

trust me i wish i could.i'd get alot better mileage.i just enjoy the power so much and its fun being so big and smoking little cars and watching their face drop
