How do I replace power door lock switch?

Tell us what your door switch is doing. Does it try to lock? Does it do nothing? Are you trying to actuate with the remote or the inside switch? , which is what your post sounds like. The more info you provide the better we can help you.

The switch on the driver's side will not unlock the doors, it locks fine. So I figured I could save some money by replacing it with the passenger's side switch.

Just pry up the plate and flip it over. The rest will be obvious once you do that.

Mission Accomplished!!! I had to remove 5 screws and lift up on the door panel. A 10 minute job tops! the dealership wanted to rape me for a full hour!
