Mildew in side mirror puddle lights

Mildew in side mirror puddle lights

Is there any way to clean the mildew inside the bottom of the puddle lights on my side view mirrors? Or do they need to be replaced?

I guess my question is if it can be disassembled and be cleaned. It looks like a sealed unit.

I don't know the answer to your question of disassembly, but I can hypothesis that if air and water can get in to create mildew, then it is not a sealed unit.
