Get ARP to tell you what those studs cost them to make and tell them you want them at that price and listen to the laughs. If you think you can make them go for it and tell me what it cost and how well they work. They have overhead and time invested evidently you've never worked in a retail anything or you'd understand.

I think you need to do a bit more research jsnap....how long have mel and russ been involved in the idi community???

when you look at what the two of them have wraped up in the community and following for services the provide I have a feeling there "departed" will come when they are 6' under.

Don't you find it at least somewhat odd that you are the only one with issue...that EVERYONE else is fighting you "tooth and nail"?

This is a brotherhood, and as Dave and others have said, these guys did research, and more importantly everyone who has acutually dealt with them has said they stand beside both their customers and what they sell 100%.

If your gonna start a bash off you should at least start it on people who have dissatisfied customers or a crappy product...unfortunatly it appears that everyone who has dealt with the two you bash seems satisfied and happy, and their are several others who wish they had the money to pay THEM for the the product and SERVICE they provide.

what you might want to do is start passing out flyers at your local walmart...there are pleanty of IDI's there, and I am sure some of them are purely price driven and would listen.

I think on some level you have missed what this community is made of

But what I'm saying is that the info that you "found" was already posted by Gary (Icanfixall) (sorry, I said Russ before). So why is your info better than his? And how does it save anyone $ when it's the same part # from the same seller?

Ok I dont know why you are here or how you got that pricing from arp, I have ordered2 sets for this engine 1,3 years ago and 1, 2 weeks ago , my price quoted to me for studs nuts and washers was right at 350.00.
It does not bother me if anyone doesnt want to buy thru me, I also never said the studs were secret, if you would have asked for the part number i would have given it to you.
Maybe mentioning you were connected in the parts business also may have helped. , I figure 10% markup is pretty fair and if you want to give away paypal fees on that markup well go ahead.
As far as the cam is concerned, I am only doing what the grinder asked me to do ,if you call them and tell them you are"connected" they will probably sell to you, times are tough and every sale is a good sale.

And stop with the hundred, that was based on your cost ,not on my cost which is not as good as yours, and I will find out monday why not.

I've known to call arp long before you started this. But I'm not gonna dog anyone else who sells them. Thats just a dick move. Its nothing to just say i found this part # at this price. No big deal but you dont have to slander someone else.
