See if the vibration is there when you are not moving. Hold the rpm at certain rpm and see if you can re-create the vibration. It sounds like the flywheel, and 2100 rpm is the magic number for it. Mine is bad, but doesnt vibrate till about 2600, and it rattles like son of a gun when i shut the truck off. Its been like that for 30k miles though

I just found the vibration in my son's truck a few hours ago. the bolt on the bell housing had come loose, something else to check!

I know it has been a little bit since any one has posted, but if you are still having the prob, you might have an input bearing in the trany going bad. If the vibration goes away when u push in the clutch, then u seperate the trany from the engine. just a thought.

If it shakes like crazy when you shut it off and vibrates at the same RPM always, your DMF springs and pilot bearing are shot IMHO. That's what mine did. a new SMF clutch fixed it
