Oil Leak...
I just noticed a couple of spots on my driveway and have never seen them before. after looking under the truck it looks like it is coming or running down the front side of the transfer case and the transfer case looks alittle wet. Any ideas what this might be coming from? I am thinking rear main seal but am not sure. I am running 5/40 syn and was curious if 15/40 miht stop it.....Any help is greatly appreciated.

Oil Leaks...
I have a 07 with 35000 miles on it,it has been in 2 times for oil leaks. I noticed small quarter size oil spots on my driveway.First dealer replaced rear main seals. no help in stopping leaks.I just got it back from dealership#2 they replaced all bedplate,oil pan and all other seals/gaskets on lower bottom engine.Having to raise body and pull engine completely out,I was worried about other issues coming out of due to all these procedures.after 100 miles no indication of leaks.Everything seems to be A-OK.In my search for info I have noted very few incidences of oil leaks in the 07 model years.This has been a great truck and I have no other complaints.I have always been a Ford Truck man and will continue to in the future.It seems like Northside Ford Trucks in Portland Or.is the
place to take your truck to get it fixed right the first time.
