2012 Super Duty...Manual Transfer Case?
I haven't been on this forum in a while but in the next coming months I am looking to purchase a 2012 1 Ton Super Duty. I have been looking at the manual transfer cases vs. the electronic shift on the fly and was wondering, does anyone know why there is a switch for On/Off on the manual transfer case? I'd like to go with manual just because I'm not a fan of electronics (manual windows, manual locks) and just don't see the reasoning behind the switch since your using the gear selector on the floor.
Also if any of you guys on here agree that I should stick with a manual transfer case over an electronic Shift on the Fly. Thanks

I have the ESOF on my '97 Ranger w/ Warn Lockouts, I haven't had any issues with it but like you said the manual has been proven.
Thanks for the help/ advice guy!
