This all started because the lights never seem to blink nearly long enough when you lock the doors with the keyless entry. I started by installing LEDs into the clearance lights and then got my cousin to create some electronics to make them blink. They are triggered by the 12V line that fires the horn and is cut off by a relay to prevent them from blinking while the truck is on. They are controlled with a PIC micro-controller. It is very easy to change the pattern and stuff, so, any suggestions are welcome. Here is a youtube video of it in action:
KICK ***! I like that, I want to install some cab lights on my truck. That was cool, maybe you should do the 'Knight Rider' style back and fourth thing a few times? I think it would be neat. But thats cool.
That's GREAT!! Really handy to help us find our truck in them stupid huge parking lots where us real men have to park our trucks! Though not like its real hard since we tower over the little people.
I like... Course I don't have clearance lights on this truck... But heck from the looks of your truck you would not have a problem installing them for me!
