Alright here is some pics

Well I made up some mounts, and tacked em on so I could test the bumper and make sure everything fit up correctly. This is pretty much exactly where it is going to be mounted up!

Here you can see that I have most of that bottom flange done, except for the last 2 pieces because I wanted to wait till I had it on the truck to make sure I had enough clearance with the tire.

Just finishing up the last of the bottom flange. You can see the mounts here, and those gussets are not permanent, just put em there to keep it square when I test fit it. I will be making stronger bigger mounts in the following week.

The entire shell is done, and now the work starts on the inside. Here I am measuring out where the trailer hitch is going to go, and how I will brace everything together.

Sorry, but nope. I quit making them when I went back to school a year ago or so.

i like the way it sits out from the grill a few inches, also the angles on it gives it a futuristic look, that should've been the factory design, you should send this to ford.

I think i missed it but what made you build a new bumper?

Also just as an idea, what about making the letters FORD in 3D on the front like it's coming out the bumper about a 1/2" in depth, and a little shorter than the height of it,just on the front of it in block letters

That would look cold!!! just a idea though.

He doesn't need a huge gay emblem on the front of his truck to let everyone know that it's a Ford. It's like that Civic I was behind this moring that said CIVIC in 6" tall letters in the back window.

Well I just figured I keep seeing all these companies selling bumpers for 1500-3000 dollars and I was like ya know what I could freaking make one for a lot less. Plus I had to make something as a project for class, so I am planning on making a front and a back.

And about the ford letters on the front! I think that would look freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am gonna have to think this one out, and make up some letters and take em on and see how I feel about it. We have more 1/2 inch plate around the shop that no one will probably ever use so hell I think ill give it a try

Thanks for your support guys!

I wasn't sure if I liked the lettering idea until i read this, now you have to. Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought that was where your fog lights were going.

ok ok huge letters would be overkill but it would look pretty good to have some smaller ones as just a touch of detail

you could also just mount a license plate holder there so you could put anything you want there.
