I'm about to change the starter on my 428. This will mean taking the header off one side. Does anyone make a decent header gasket? I've tried cheap ones, expensive ones, & doubling them. What are the best that you've used? Do any of them last more than a month?
I've had good luck with Doug Thorleys. They're the thickest and widest I've found and haven't blown out after 1-1/2 years. The Mr. Gasket ones I installed with the headers blew out right away.
