Hi everyone!
My Florida house, (inherited from my Mom,) is scheduled for auction on the 21st.
However I am told to expect a pre-auction bid, possibly as soon as today!
The market there is very bad. It is near Cape Canaveral and they are expecting many layoffs soon and everyone in the area are intensely aware of the fact. So the depressed market there is now subject to a new, negative force. So I am not overly optimistic about what it is going to sell for.
So I am hanging on, hoping for the best.
Cold and cloudy with snow flurries today.
Cheers gang.

Sorry to hear about the house outlook Bruce. It stinks all over, not just Vegas it seems. We moved here two years ago and held off buying as my wife couldn't find a job. It was very fortunate for us as the houses we were looking at are now half of what it was. We have been renting since and I think my landlord is happy to have us as she hasn't raised the rent at all and we have seen 12 other houses in our neighborhood get repo'd. Best of luck though.

Bruce, Didn't get much done yesterday. Just another gloomy day here. It has been snowing on & off all morning. We got about an inch but not staying around Thank God.
Although I renewed my membership to FTE. I can't believe I have been a SUPPORTER for 3 years already. I renewed for a 3 year tour of duty again. This is the only Forum I support. It is also one of the best if not the best on the web.

Hi Jeff, it looks like we are right on the schedule you set as a goal for the chapter.
It was a good thing to do. I have been checking in more often as a result.
Cheers!
BTW, if there are any skiers out there, the skiing here is reported to be absolutely great!

Yeah, and I like "internet brands."
Have you investigated their other sites?
We own a 98 Jeep GC Limited 5.9 also a 97 Chevy Blazer. So I spend sometime on the Blazer forum, Jeep forum, & Automotive forum. I use to hang around TrailVoy & DakotaDurango forum. In the days when we owned a Dakota & a Trailblazer.
The thing about FTE I like is there are plenty of older guys & gals around. It is has always been a very friendly, helpful site. I most likely will never buy another heavy truck again. So our 86 F250 4x4 will be around for as long as I am. Unless something very bad happens to it in which case I would buy another Ford up to a 1997. After That year I'm not interested one bit.
My new Hays Flexplate & Hughes Tow converter arrived at the shop today. So on the 22nd the F250 goes in for a make over of the tranny. I can't wait to get it back to see if what I thought about the converter & tranny make the difference I'm hoping for.
Bruce, the house deal has to be frustrating. But hang in there as I try to do turn the results over to God. You have done the footwork, now it is Gods. It's like this darn weather I keep doing what I just said daily. But it feels good to complain at least it gets it out.
That is one thing I wish I knew is why I complain about stuff I can't do a darn thing about. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on that either.

Hey any of you people that want to go over to the Arizona Chapter & vote for Bill W & his 1966 F100. There is a link set up over there He has made it to the second round of the FTE classic truck competition. I believe he is tied for first right now. Bill W comes over here & visits us. Lets support him. I have seen his 66 F100 in person, it is a sweet truck.
