Jeff, better put in the house were it stays warm. Paint is too expensive to have & throw out.
Good afternoon everyone. This is my final day in Fallon. I'm so glad to be getting out of here. We have been here almost a year & I really hoped for a better year. But I learned maybe more than I wanted to know.
I'm looking forward to hang out with my friend who owns a welding shop. He builds Hot Rods & race cars, so it will give me something to do I enjoy. I use to help out when I was there before & he is glad we are coming back up. Vici not commuting will be great for both of us. That is two & a half hours a day we can spend together.
I'll check in when we get our internet back up. Being on satellite internet it is just a matter of resetting my dish. Which sometimes is a son of a gun.
Ahh, but therein lies the problem. I live with my cousin and I will not be back at his place until after the race. Almost out of power. See y'all later.
Well we got moved & are back. I'm so glad to be out of Fallon. It feels good being back in Lovelock. Nothing like a small town where the only real noise is when the trains come through. I love the trains.
I look forward to the day of getting out of Vegas and back to a smaller town. This big city is a bit much for us. The only plus is jobs are more pentiful here than most places, so we'll stick it out for a bit. Off to the field tomorrow so I'll be off the computer until next weekend. Hope everyone is well.

I really like Las Vegas. It is much cleaner, nicer city than Reno. Clark County we are pretty sure are going to offer my wife a job. The only thing is we live in an RV full-Time & have for years, we have a small cargo trailer that carries my motorcycle & seconds as a small shop. In Las Vegas you either have these $800/mo spaces or your over on Boulder Hwy in the ghettos. In the high end RV Parks in Las Vegas they are so restricted. No Dog over 10#, No Cargo Trailer on site must be in storage & on & on. In Arizona we use to stay in RV parks that were real high end but if you paid by the season or even yearly they cost about $250/mo. We seldom found them to be as restricted as what Las Vegas is.
So we have decided unless Clark County offers her a position in the Rural part of the County ( Logandale, Primm,, Sandy Valley, etc) we won't go, period.
I know how you feel about city living. About 50,000 people is my limit. I like places like Cottonwood, Kingman, Globe, Sierra Vista, AZ. You have about everything but they aren't over crowded & still have a smaller town feel.
Pahrump NV is OK. But they have so many problems besides corruption, things like water, sewer, & being in the bottom of a dry lake bed where houses sink & crack apart.
So we may just stay here another year. We just have to see.
We moved just in time. Fallon got 8" of snow yesterday. We are 60 miles northeast of there & we had sun & clouds but no snow or rain. So God blessed me. We got down to 20 degrees this morning but we are suppose to warm up to the high 40s. I have to go to Fallon to take my Ford F250 in for the transmission work I have been planning. I decided to pull the trailer up here first so I can break in the rebuilt tranny & get stuff set in before I hook 10,000#s behind it.
