smoke?

my psd doesn't smoke at all. should it?

ive had 2 diesels one was regular model and the one i have now is a cali and the cali doesnt smoke at all but the other one did like a chimney on start up, not sure if cali makes a diff or if the other truck was just wore out

I would have to agree w/wheelie31, no smoke is a good thing.

yes no smoke is a good thing. Smoke is unburned fuel. Costs a little money to get it to smoke (injectors, chip) just to waste the money in fuel. Hopefully soon I can get a H2E turbo to help truck not smoke as much

Bone stock trucks won't smoke much at all unless you chip it.

Trust me bud onceYou got it, it's cool for a day but once you Start smoking people out just lightly passing someone you feel like a jerk lol I ant a haze on a ballsy setting and. Gung ho smoke tune when anted or needed when you have a rice with them purple lights parked up behind you

how do you find out if your truck is a cali model?

do you have a GPR shunt? it says california on the valve cover. and its a quiter engine... oh and is cooler than all the other trucks.. haha


another way to tell is by unplugging the EBPV and seeing if the code P0475 pops up.. only on cali trucks did that happne.

the valve cover does say cali approved. no shunt
