Battery light/power issue
I started my 2002 F150 the other day and started driving. After a few minutes I noticed that the battery light had come on. I continued to drive and didn't notice any other problems but the light remained on. It seemed also as it got darker that all of the interior lights appeared to be a bit dim and that the head lights were dim as well. That night I drove the truck for about 45 minutes with the battery light on and all lights dim but appeared to have no other issues. everytime I start it it starts fine but the same thing, batter light on everything dim. It almost seems to me that the alternater is charging the battery but not fully and that it has enough power to run but isn't running on full power. any ideas???

I think your right, bad alternator. If you have a buddy with a volt meter, put on the battery terminals and check the voltage when the truck is off and when running. Should be 12.5 when off and 14 when running. That is the alternator voltage going into the battery to charge it. If you keep running the way you are, you will eventually have a dead battery.
