I have a 1988 ford f250 diesel automatic when you turn key to run the shifter will not come out of park any one have any idea also does any one have a link to show the complete tear down of the column thanks

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...-actuator.html Look at the post by jas88 in this thread. Most likely that the ign actuator has broken in yours causing the shifter to jam in Park. It`s about a $10.00 part (most auto parts stores) and takes a couple of hours to replace.
