egr problems
I was just introduced to this forum today and cannot believe the amount of info that is on here. I am sure this topic already exists, as it seems to be a common problem.....I just cant seem to find it specifically.
I have a 04 F-350 6.0 w/ approx 135k miles. The truck started blowing white smoke out the exhaust, then a puddle of motor oil appeared that was leaking out of the muffler. The mechanic advised me today that the EGR cooler and valve were both bad. I have been told about an EGR bypass or delete. I am trying to consider all my options and am VERY open to suggestions.
