its soo sad that one of the most popular and best rated engines has literally the least performance parts made for it
Very true. Unfortunately, the suppliers of aftermarket go with what the crowd wants. They may agree that it's the best and would probably have a blast designing stuff for it, but if no one's buying it.... V8 stuff.

yep. so i looked at the engine picture showing the exhaust side. is that the magnaflow peice that replaces everything after the manifolds to the converters? andcould you make a vid and post it of it runnin?
The one in the pic in my garage? It's a 2.5" pipe walker makes. (part #45166)
Yeah, it's great because it runs all the way back to near behind the door.
I generally don't shoot video of the engine for sound since my power steering pump whines like nothing else. I don't care how loud the exhaust is, it's all you can hear.
oh now that i look at them i notice that ive seen them on youtube lol. sounds good though. you outa get some mudders for that bronco, itd look really good then
The current ones are 30x9.5s but they measure around 27" (ugh). The new ones are 31x10.5s but they dwarf my old ones. Plus, new rims that have a lot more backspacing, so it won't look so 'stilty'. BFG A/Ts. I liked the mud tire look, but with the long distance driving I do in the Bronco, the noise and added resistance'd eat into mpg.
Can't wait.
for the picture where you saw the difference. um hell yea it makes a difference lol. look at my pictures, i used to have all terrains on that. try and picture all terrains on it now next to the swampers
NW150, sorry for sounding rude. I was just being brutally honest. My point was to simply not get caught up in the advertising of some parts/kits (chrome bolts, pretty pictures, etc...).
Aside from that, to reinforce what has been said here and in many other threads, I think the only sure-fire way to get an EFI 300 to wake up is to get complete control over the ecu. Tweecer, quarterhorse, anderson motorsport are just a few off the top of my head that specialize in ford efi. If all else fails, megasquirt or maybe an AEM. Then you still have the airflow issues that youre, hopefully, already aware of.
alrighty no problem. yea someone gave me a link to a 300 forum somewhere else and someone mentioned using hvac foil tape or something like that. he said line the inside of the filter box and the air tube. i think maybe this could help since it would take away all the edges for the flex bends. and if anything has to do with the timing then im limited to what i can make outa the engine, cause it is still stock and never been messed with. its kinda unique to me cause the engine has gone through some crappy times, been flooded twice from trying to start it with condensation in the fuel1 rail and has always come out runnin like new again haha.
