Running Board Question
Does anybody know if a 2005 EX has black running boards, can they be swapped out for the chrome OEM tube bumpers? I just love the way it looks with the chrome.

If you look at an EX or a Super Duty, the step tubes are lower than the running boards. I have seen an EX with aftermarket chrome tubes on it and I don't like the look. Does anybody know if you can retrofit the new ones on a truck.

I have the chrome tubes on my 05 so they should not be a problem. I'm pretty sure that they only came on the 4x4 for 05. I would call around to some junk yards.

These are still available. Just google the part numbers. Expensive, though.
