That is Great Bill here in MI nobody buys anything.
I've sold and bought on Craigslist before. All of my transactions have been good, but you hear about a lot of bad ones. Just like anything else, you have to be careful, probably a little bit more so since it's free and anyone can list
I have had both good and bad experiences, but have managed to find my last two Ford trucks on there and both within a hundred and fifty miles of each other. I have also sold some stuff. Golf clubs and a couple of trucks on there with no problems. I advertise my snow removal on there as well.
Have a good spam filter and use common sense when searching/replying to adds all emails are anonymous at first; until you reply then yours is shown, but if you use outlook like I do then just right click on the email go to options and left click it will show you that persons true email. The route it took and their home IP address. I post this randomly on craigslist rant and rave section with there email address and let the fun begin.
Thank you for the search engine links. They will come in handy.
