walker BTM and Dynomax

Is the Walker 21470 and the Dynomax 21470 sold at summitracing the same muffler? thanks

Not sure, but I think Walker and Dynomax are one in the same. I bought the

Walker BTM from my local NAPA dealer for $55 bucks, and I like it a lot! Here

is a link of the BTM at another vendor site..........

My local NAPA is selling it for 81 bucks. Summitt is offering a 21470 dynomax for 53 bucks and it has the walker rv muffler in the title

I got my Walker from a local parts store, 55 bucks. Sounds great esp. w/no cat!!

Did you have to buy the clamps and if so where did you get them?

I actually spent $45 dollars and had it welded into place.

Great, now I have to wait for it to come in and get my 6637 installed, what kind of gains in mpg did you get if any?

I gained 1 mpg, but the biggest gain was the turbo lag was cut in half after I got

that factory muffler off! I think you will be pleased!! It's in my opinion the

best bang for the buck as far as exhaust goes! A lot of guys go out and drop

hundreds of dollars on full systems! If you do not have inspections you could

say bye bye to the kitty for even more exhaust flow! I am in AZ and they look

at my truck every year at emissions testing..... So I have the Walker muffler

and the cat still installed.......

Once you get it on let us know how you like the setup!

I too put this lifetime warranty BTM muffler on and left the cat in place for inspections.

the stock cat is relatively high flow so even IF you remove it you won't gain that much,
(and do save it - REAL expensive to replace !)
