In the US refiners may still produce LSD till June 2010, distributors may distribute till October 2010 and retailer's may still sell LSD until December 2010 in all states except California. California like all of Canada legislated zero transition time in the 2006 rollout of ULSD. All other states allowed a 4 year transition period. Owners of DPF equipped vehicle still need to be alert and looking for the ULSD sticker's.

i deliver electrical transformers through out the us. several years ago alot of oil refineries were expanding to accomadate the ulsd. i was told it would raise the cost of fuel then... lsd is cheaper for stations to buy from distributers and they charge the same prices as they would for the more expensive ulsd.. thats the reason some stations have not yet complied with the change over. MONEY.... pilot truck stops are a large, nationwide travel center and lots of there stations still dont carry ulsd. puts me in a bind when i need fuel in my 2010 KW. as well as with my 2008 250..
