The fifth emailed an inquiry, but no word back yet.

I'm asking $2750 and hoping to get $2500, though I may be dreaming. It needs a lil TLC and a U-joint, which is why I priced it a little bit low. In the back of my head, I'd really rather see my wife's Hyundai Santa Fe sell so that maybe I can hang on to the Bronco a lil while longer, even though it's not the most baby-friendly vehicle out there. So ... time will tell. It's just a bit of a pain trying to sell a car when you're gone half the time.
Rob I would keep the Bronco & sell the Santa Fe. I have decided that buying newer is not a good idea. There are way too many defects built into these newer cars. Our 98 Jeep GC 5.9 Limited is as new as I'm getting. In fact I have kind of been looking for an older Explorer say 91-94 to replace our Blazer when the time comes.

I'd really prefer to keep the Bronco, but at this point it's a matter of which one sells first. There's nothing wrong with the Santa Fe, other than the fact that I don't like it. Don't get me wrong, it's a great and reliable vehicle, but it's not for me. Gotta do what we gotta do, though.

4 days down, 4 days 'til I come home. Gotta love the 50 yard line.

Craig reading your post I thought you were referring to the dodge grand caravan I just finished 2 days ago. (long story)
it is my Aunt's car, they were coming to Arizona for Thanksgiving, stopped in Tuccumcari New Mexico for breakfast. when they tried to start the car to leave it would crank but not start, local mechanic looked at it and couldn't figure it out. my father took my trailer and hauled it to my shop and the work started. being Thanksgiving no parts stores open, they had to get home so they took my wife's suburban home (Weatherford Oklahoma)
so back to the car, I tested the CPS, bad signal, change it car starts but misses on 2 cylinders. test the TPS about 5 degrees of dead spot, change it still misses on 2 cylinders. change coil pack still misses on 2 cylinders.
remove wiring harness disassemble check every wire, re assemble.
remove all grounds clean re attach.
talk to 2 dodge techs both say change computer. order computer, install computer it blows all associated fuses.
warranty computer car starts but 2 different cylinders miss and when driving I get a code for random miss fire.
order "known good" computer from wrecking yard in LA, they run up my credit card bill on online gaming, spend 5 hours on phone with credit card fraud protection closing account and getting new account! "known good" computer is fried! I don't dare send it back and give them my new credit card number to run up!

talk to another 30 year dodge tech he says has to be a ground issue! remove harness again dis assemble open ground unions and re solder all of them. no change.

install another new CPS, random misfire goes away! still misses on coil pack #2
go out in morning car starts and runs fine!!!!!!! drive to Prescott and after 8 miles starts missing and sets a CEL! limp back home head hanging again. put on lift bang head on grill!
than I get to thinking it must be electrical if it works cold! right? no sh!* ! so I pull the new coil pack off and throw it in the freezer and go eat lunch. take coil pack out of freezer re install and runs fine for a few miles.
order new coil pack, install and car runs fine!
in total
4 computers
3 cam sensors
3 coil packs
I quit keeping track of shop time after 50 hours. through all this I kept all the defective parts and after I got the car running I put them back in one at a time and all were defective.
what a PIA

Hi Bill, when are you going pig hunting?
I was going to get a tag but it is 220 miles round trip to azgfd, and than 180 round trip to where I would hunt! too many miles for a rodant.
