Hey Bart yea, work is a little slow, but i'll make good use of the time and work on the 66, afternoon traffic can be down right scary in the thing pulling a trailer. so it's time to upgrade the system to disc brakes.

i do have kitchen cabinets and bath vanitys to refinish late january and a roof coat job and a exterior repaint in febuary, then more cabinets to finish, maybe a bedroom in there somewhere, if the customer calls back with the ok.

Howdy Ariz. Getting too old to handle this cold weather. Thinking about Southern Ariz. Was looking at a map, grew up on a farm, not a city person by any means. Anybody there know the area? Saw a little place called Ligurta, outside Yuma. What's the job situation? Gas prices? Wages, taxes, ins., etc.? Lived in New Mexico for a while, still got that white shtuff on the ground there. Thinking south = warm. Doubt it ever happens to tell the truth, but I can always dream can't I ?

Mexico!
Taking my wife down Monday to get a crown.
just DO NOT go down there and ask for a dentist. only go to one who was referred to you by someone who has been to that dentist.
if you want to go to Yuma let me know and I will give you my dentist phone number.

Yuma is mostly commercial farms, mostly migrant farm workers. if you live around there don't plan on owning anything! it most likely will get stolen (my opinion)
as for warm you bet 120+ in the summer lots of humidity from all the farm land.
if I remember correctly Ligurta is just dry hot and some sage brush!
Interstate 8 used to be a heavy drug traffic route but don't know anymore.
I would recommend a trip out in July or August to see if you like it that hot!

School bus driver., Thing about Phoenix / Tuscon is the size. Grew up in a place that wasn't even on the map. Closest place ( about 5 miles away had the little dot for population under 500. That was the 1980 census. Haven't looked lately. Just like some room between me & my neighbors. Right now, maybe 10 feet on each side. Do have a back yard though. Nothing big. In the desert I wont have to worry about cutting the grass, it don't grow. No rain = no grass . Last time I filled up here ( Sun. A.M. think gas was $2.50 something a gallon. Taxes this year were $1500 for the house & car. Great state of Misery has what they call " Property tax " where every year you get taxed on anything you have with license plates ( car, truck, trailer, house trailer, etc. ) & boats. You pay sales tax when you buy it & then get taxed again at the end of every year .
