Oh yea I got tired of reading them lol!! Thanks for the response Gerry all I wanted was to get a first hand from someone I've already met here on the forums. And well looks like I'll be contacting them and seeing what their price is for the SRL tune.
Well now I feel a whole lot better!!! I don't plan on running my truck like the kids that use mommys and daddys truck to race. I just want the extra umf for the occasional out of town trip that requires to well lets just say other vehicles harass my yellow pick up and your next reply really cracked me up hahahaha
I feel the same Daniel, I'm a ''mature driver'', lol............ I love beating Yotas n Hondas, hehehe.............when I tow I go back to stock for now
Yea I can only imagine the feeling you get! Hopefully I will get to feel the same here in the next couple weeks! I was so concerned about my truck not being "bullet proofed" and sticking a chip on it was going to be the last thing. But from what i read it's all in the driving manner.
Amen. Not that I plan on doing it. I only plan to go to the track once and only once in my truck heck I might not ever make it there haha. I just don't see the use in abusing a vehicle like that at least not a diesel truck. I'd take a gasser out there tho. much cheaper to repair a gas than a diesel.
Yea I'd like to call myself a mechanic but I don't mess with the internal components of an engine so I don't think I can call myself that. But as me to change out anything outside of the engine and I'll be able to do it no problem. Of course my Dad has always taught me the basics to do this and that. It also helps that we work on our own 18 wheelers.
You're actually better off if you're not comfy with the inside then leave it alone..... some guys create their own problems.....I started out as an automatic trans tech then I got my ASE cert..... I still do auto's
Yea there is a dang good Powerstroke shop about 150 miles from me that I'll be taking my truck to this coming up week. The exhaust pipe that connects to the turbo has begun to leak ( the flex pipe).
Yea what is worse than the noise tho..... THE SMELL stuck inside the cab :/ Oh yea i should of mentioned that as well I also have a 4" turbo back exhaust with cat delete installed.
