Good morning New Mexico. I've got a trip to the auto parts store today and then I get to replace some parts that were failing after my leveling kit install yesterday.
Parts will be expensive, but the time to install them shouldn't be too bad. And I get to save on the price of labor. Yay for driveway mechanics.
Go for it Bobbie, I would just replace the parts it needs for now, no point replacing parts that don't need replacing..........
I've been back and forth on the lower control arms. First of all they are expensive. Secondly I didn't see that they needed the replacing. Uppers, swaybar links and tie rods could definitely use it. although the tie rods could be fine, but they are cheap and why not.
Morning NM. Just waiting for the temps to warm up a touch before I brave the cold to change out some worn parts on the suspension. I'll post up some finished pics of the ol' girl when I'm done.
Due to the weather (and potential for road closures) my husband has taken the truck to the shop today. So it will get the tie rod ends and swaybar link replaced on both sides as well as a general checking over what I did to do to make sure it's kosher and the alignment.
It's not going to get the larger tires on until this weekend because lugs wont be here until Friday. But assuming the weather holds the new tires and fenderflares will be put on this weekend!
Sounds good BoBBie. Make sure to wash and dry it good before putting on the flare's. Might want to put a coat of wax under the flare's just for good insurance....
