Good morning all. Was at dinner last night with a friend and a police officer was walking into the restaurant looking for the "owner of the white F150 out back." Of course that's mine so I asked if I needed to move it and he was only interested in talking to me about my rims and bumper. He was drooling over the way the truck looked.

Hey Gerry I have a couple questions....... What all parameters do you view with your Edge CTS? What are symptoms of oil cooler failing? Anything I can do to extend the life a little longer?
The delta is 15*, you never want the engine coolant & the motor oil to be more than 15*............. if the temp spread is more than 15 for extended periods, it's a sign of problems, like head gaskets or oil cooler ..........I think carbon from the EGR valve is what plugs the oil cooler...........
If you search more in the 6.0L forum all that will be described much better than I ever can......
That being said I always monitor oil temp, water temp, exhaust temp with an EGT probe, FICM voltage, battery voltage...........one thing I need now is a fuel pressure gauge, I would like to keep an eye on that...
