jr the tents we use for reenacting are canvas a frame tents with no floor. but once you seal the gap up with soem straw and fill a mattress tick up with straw it gets quite nice in that tent.

Devon these tents are also very period correct in that they are not waterproofed. but they are nice and dry in the rain.

dont get me wrong, spring,summer and fall it sounds great...just thinkin of the weather now..wow

Devon winter is a great time to camp especially in the state parks that allow camping yr round. They are nice and quiet.

i might take ya up on that but im gonna kep the truck close incase i start to los fealing in my legs..or arms

I havent yet Devon. Then again I do like to use the sleeping bag rated to 0 degrees depending on where Im camping at. and also what era Im camping in as well. Our reenacting tents are easy to set up 5 stakes and three poles. takes me about 5 minutes to set one of them up by myself.

crap man, it takes me 30 minutes to set up my family tent
