Finances, as usual. Would have to sell this place, find someplace I could afford where it's warm, find a job there, etc., etc. Thinking Southern Ariz. ought to be nice this time of year. Phoenix or Tuscon are too big for me. Grew up on a farm, still not used to this city life. Kinda crowded.

Devon I am a member of the eastern band of cherokee indians in NC. I am just doing some more family research there to trace more of my ancestry. We havealready traced alot of it but want to find out more information and for that we have to dig through alot of the old tribal rolls.

I was thinking farther south ( south = warm ). Yuma is still too big to suit me. Lived in New Mexico & we still got that white shtuff there. Kinda like a little room between me & my neighbors. Not that I dislike neighbors, just not on top of me.

if you have their names you can start doing research on the reservations. I know with the eastern band of cherokee the primary roll the use if i remember correctly is the baker roll. You can also look into the dawes roll as well.
