Door Panels

Thought some of you might like to see the door panels I built for my 65.

Took the door handles off and replaced with pull handles. installed power window switches in the console. I used the armrest bracket and cup off a 73 to make the arm rest solid. I also installed power door locks with keyless entry. Creature Comforts!!

Thanks John. I think it really cleaned up the look of the door and no more loose handles!! I've learned some tricks over the years, but still no good at body work.

those door handles look like 90s toyota handles

And the skin, the only thing I can think of that would make scales that big would be alligator/Crocodile, but it could be faux

let's wait and see the answer

Yep, the door handles are off a 90 toyota and the skin is faux alligator. Had to build a pocket in the door to mount the handle then hooked it up to the original door bar. Works really well. My son bought a gator foot for it when he went to Florida one year. It replaced the fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror,LOL. There are other pics in my gallery.
