well its not fixed yet he is still working on it and everything that fordtech08 said was the problem that guy is #1 in my book!!!!!! he deff. knows his stuff!!!!

so while have the truck fixed i went ahead and sent the egr system out to get cleaned he said there were a couple chunks of carbon in there so i figured why the hell not... was that a good idea or not????? i hear you lose some MPG when you plug the system so i did not want to go that route...

i think some have a different effect i had a good one it smotted out and i seem to have more pep in the pedal but i cleaned it then just unpluged it

so I'm guessing you had the cooler and the intake sent out to be cleaned? didn't know there was a place to send it to I just normally poor some power purple in there let it sit for a while and then rinse it out makes it nice and clean, and just a hint but if you go to ford they sell a bottle of diesel additive if you pour the entire bottle in then drive it hard the egr will be clean in about 40 miles or so
